I’ve been in a big-time Easter decorating mood this year so here’s another ridiculously simple idea for ya.. At the start of the Easter decorating season (you know, when they catalogues come out and get you thinking about this stuff), I once again remembered how much I love those big fancy Easter baskets you can get from some places like Pottery Barn Kids and the fabric liners that you can get to go with them.

Who can’t use a little more of that?🙂 I’ve been having so much fun with my new V6 Absolute that Dyson sent me recently and I’ve wanted to use it for everything so I’m really starting to maximize its potential.There are so many ways that we can use our vacuum cleaners around the house to make our lives cleaner and easier and today I’m feeling inspired to share with you some of my favorite all-time uses for a vacuum.

Vacuum glass light fixtures before using glass cleaner to get rid of dust and fur and avoid having it stick on after spraying.
I have such a tough time with some of our glass light fixtures around the house.This gives you a really good view of everything you’re working with and makes sure you don’t pull your vacuum down onto yourself if you’re using a regular corded vacuum with a long hose.
I actually did that the week before my Dyson arrived while I was trying to take a shortcut on my back hall stairs.So don’t do that.
Remove the long stick part of your vacuum and use the crevice tool attachment with just the main canister part of the vacuum to do a little detail work first on your stairs.. You can really have a lot of control to get into all the nooks and crannies this way.Crumbs and pet fur just love nooks and crannies!.
